Recipe for World Peace
WHAT IF: all of a sudden, the focus was shifted, ever so slightly,
in the hearts and minds of the hundreds of thousands of models and
actors appearing in the hundreds of gazillions of pornographic images
on the Internet and:
1) they were moved to do their job out of sincere affection for
the other people involved instead of simply for the excitement,
the money or the recognition
2) they shared the love and caring they receive through respectful
sexual contact out into the rest of the world after their work period
or photo sessions
3) they made a priority of respecting their own bodies and every
other human body as a sacred space not to be harmed or violated,
only to be loved and honoured.
BUT SERIOUSLY, because of the sheer quantity of imagery involved,
the impact of such a radical movement would change things at the
very root of society. After changing the way people see, treat and
love each other, it would cause governments to fall, wars would
cease, prisons would be emptied and terrorism would become a lost
art. And you don't have to be a porn star to apply these points...
